AGES: 7-11 years old and 12-15 years old (campers will be placed in age appropriate groups based on ability)
2024 dates: Week #1: July 8-12 Week #2: July 22-26
Instruction, drills, activities will vary each week of camp.

CAMP DAY: 9 am-2:30 pm
LUNCH: Campers are required to bring their own lunch, however at the beginning of each day Rising Star will offer pizza and beverages for interested campers. Two slices and a soda/juice will be available for $5 per camper.
CAMPER LIMIT: To create the best learning environment possible, this camp will have a limit to the number of registered campers.
OVERVIEW: Rising Star Baseball Camp, now in Guilderland for the 22nd consecutive year, is an instructional baseball camp intended to teach basic fundamentals and mechanics as well as advanced skills for development in the sport. Camp Director Joe Altieri has more than 20 seasons of baseball instruction experience and coaching while his staff is made up of current and former Guilderland High School coaches Kyle Johnson, Payton Mitchell and Bill Schewe as well as current/former colllege players. Instruction also provided by several Division I, II, & III baseball players including Guilderland HS graduates who have gone on to play collegiately. Following morning stretching and conditioning exercises, campers will be divided into groups based on age and ability and will participate in instruction (through lectures and hands-on demonstrations) then play games on both Guilderland Babe Ruth’s Dutchman Field and Guilderland Little League fields.
